Orders

Following the buyer’s purchase order by email or mail, Fred&Juul will issue a pro forma invoice and the order is confirmed at the time of payment. Payments are processed through bank wire transfer or, on request, by credit card. The pro forma invoice will contain the necessary information for a bank wire transfer or a Stripe payment link. Any typographical, clerical or other accidental errors or omissions on documentation or information issued by Fred&Juul shall be subject to correction without liability on the part of Fred&Juul. Please notice that lead times, as shown on the price list, are estimated times only. Lead times for non-standard items and large quantity orders will be advised upon order confirmation.

Notice

Our furniture and lighting fixtures are handcrafted piece by piece and although we make every effort to ensure that the item you receive is as close as possible to the one pictured, please be aware that it may vary slightly in terms of color, texture and finish.

Warranty

Fred&Juul will warrant products purchased only by the original purchaser from this website. Fred&Juul warrants that its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for one year after date of purchase. Fred&Juul reserves the right, before having any obligation under this limited warranty, to inspect the damaged product, and all costs of shipping for inspection shall be borne solely by the purchaser. In order to recover under this limited warranty, purchaser must make claim to Fred&Juul within 10 days of occurrence. Fred&Juul, at its option, shall repair or replace the defective item covered by this warranty. In order to keep this limited warranty in effect, the product must have been handled and used as prescribed. This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to accident, misuse, abuse or negligence.

Shipping

Shipping costs depend on the delivery destination and selected shipping method, and will be quoted separately (please contact us for pricing). Fred&Juul’s standard delivery terms are to an agreed address, curbside only, or to a warehouse location and do not include off-loading or installation of the goods. It is the responsibility of the buyer to provide, at the delivery point, and at the buyer’s
expense, adequate and appropriate equipment and manual labor. Whilst Fred&Juul will do all within their power to meet delivery dates, they shall not be under liability whatsoever for delay in estimated delivery times or failure to deliver for any cause, or from any loss or damages that arise. Receipt of goods showing obvious damage to items or packaging must be recorded in writing on the accompanying shipment documentation. In the case that the client cannot check receipt of goods immediately the phrase “received with reserve” must be recorded on all accompanying shipment documentation.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made within 5 days of confirmation of order. Cancellations of custom orders must be made within 2 days of confirmation of order. No cancellations will be accepted after the above grace periods.

Damages

All damage claims must be made in writing within 3 days of receipt of goods. If the packaging was damaged it must be retained by receiver. Failure to do so may invalidate any claim.

Returns

Our pieces are all made-to-order and are therefore considered final sale.

Privacy

Fred&Juul follows the applicable Italian and European data protection regulations. You may give us personal information by sending us an e-mail or placing an order on our website. We only collect and process personal data in order to answer questions or process orders. Your personal data will not be shared by us with third parties unless we are instructed to do so by the authorities in case of investigations against online frauds, or to prevent Internet crime. You are entitled to review and correct any of your personal data we have saved, and you may withdraw your consent to the use of your data at any time, affecting all future use.
